Since 2015, Adult & Teen Challenge of Oklahoma (ATCOK) has raised the bar for marketing by capturing fresh visual content through Social Media Coordinators (SMCs) stationed at each campus. The media they send to the ATCOK Admin Center not only boosts our programs’ digital presence but also supplies our design team with valuable material for print, video, and social platforms. The result is a powerful tool for reaching more at‑risk individuals and families with stories of hope and transformation.

SMC Responsibilities

To stay in good standing, every SMC must complete the weekly tasks below. Missed items will appear on the program’s weekly media scorecard, which is emailed to centers. If emergencies, vacations, mission trips, or other conflicts prevent you from meeting these goals, notify Peter Friedlander ([email protected]) in advance. Unexplained absences will lower your score.

  1. Facebook content
    • Post at least three original, engaging updates on your program’s Facebook page each week.
    • Do not post shared content. Write a short paragraph for each post yourself.
    • Include photos or videos—e.g., baptisms, thrift‑store events, birthdays, graduations, before/after stories, chapel visits.

See here for posting to Facebook.
  2. Google Drive uploads
  3. Student‑completion interview videos
    • Within two weeks of graduation, film a brief interview with each completing or restoration student.
    • If a student declines or scheduling is impossible, email Peter Friedlander with the reason.
    • Upload finished videos to the correct SMC Drive folder.

See here for instructions how to film student interviews
