๐Ÿ” Problem 1: Fuzzy or blurry image

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Fix:

  • Make sure the lens is set to AF (autofocus), not MF.
  • Use Live View and tap the subject on-screen to focus.
  • In low light, autofocus can struggle โ€” try increasing light or manually focusing.
  • Use a tripod or stabilizer to avoid motion blur if shutter speed is slow.

๐Ÿ” Problem: Auto power-off feature is kicking in or itโ€™s hitting 10-min clip limit.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Fix: Go to Menu > Power Saving > Auto Power Offโ†’ set to Disable.

  • For video, Canon T7i has a 29 minute recording limit, but sometimes clips stop earlier due to:
  • Slow SD card โ€“ use Class 10 UHS-I SD cards. Only use the provided SD cards that came with the camera.
If you lost or need replacements, contact Peter Friedlander [email protected].
  • Overheating โ€“ let it cool.

๐Ÿ’ก Note: Disabling Auto-Off drains the battery faster โ€” bring extras or use wall power if stationary.

๐Ÿ” Problem: Tascam or Canon shows โ€œCard Fullโ€ even if you think itโ€™s empty.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Fix: Double-check youโ€™ve uploaded all your required photos/audio/videos to the correct Google Drive folders.

    After confirming backups:

    • On PC: Delete media from SD card.
    • Empty the recycle bin if using Windows/macOS โ€“ or files will still be there.

Format the card in the device (not on the computer):

    • Canon T7i: Menu > Tools > Format card
    • Tascam: Menu > Format
    • This clears out hidden files and prevents glitches.

๐Ÿ” Problem: Footage uploaded, but you received a negative report.

    ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Fix: Double-check correct upload locations:

      • Facebook posts: 3+ positions per week
      • SMC Upload Google Drive (not your personal drive!)
      • Interviews and weekly required photos/videos
