Make sure you loosen the adjustment knobs before trying to turn, extend the legs, swiveling ect..

Directional microphone (shotgun microphone)
Whatever you point the microphone at it will pickup audio from that direction.

Audio Recorder
During student interviews, capture video with the canon camera, record audio using the directional microphone and this Tazcam unit. Please visit the interview page for assistance with setup.

XLR Cable
Connects from the directional microphone to the Tazcam audio unit. (Left input).

SD Cards
You should have two SD cards. One is designated for the Tazcam unit, while the other is intended for the camera.

Lenses
You will only need the 18/55 lens (smaller barrel) for photo/video. The longer barrel length is for outdoor far away shots (telephoto).
